Description
CTS Turbo now offers throttle body spacers for the FSI and TSI engines. These spacers offer an injection point for water/meth systems as well as an increase in plenum volume.
This increase will aid in boosting the midrange torque of the vehicle.
This part does not fit MQB 888.3 engine.
Included:
- Billet aluminum spacer, precisely made to fit the intake manifold on FSI/TSI vehicles.
- Perfectly positioned threaded water/meth nozzle bung (1/8"NPT thread to accept most nozzles)
- 4 extra long screws
- Large o-ring for a leak-proof seal
*Note*
- For customers who are running water/meth systems.
- If you plan on running without a water or meth system, you will need to plug the 1/8NPT port

Noticed a positive difference
I can tell a difference especially off the line. Car Pulls a little more and responds quicker. 2010 vw cc stage 2 Integrated Engineering tune and dsg tune. Not using with water meth injection.

Install went well a little tricky but nice fit. Quicker response for sure. If installing CTS throttle pipe you'll need to cut off .5" of top collar, once that done fit great. Love the sound.

Not So Easy Install *increase in Pull*
Very difficult to remove the Throttle body without unplugging coolant hoses left and right (saved myself a cleanup and some cash). Just installed the Throttle Body Spacer and the different is felt. Cheapest mod on my 13' mk6 gli by far. Car sounds a lot more aggresive as well. (Installed: Neuspeed Intercooler, CTS Turbo Throttle Body Spacer, custom performance cold air intake, Resonator delete and RS performance muffler. R8 coil packs and iridium sp = AMAZING)

I have not yet installed this products . as far as quality and machining its very nice product. The only part I don't like is that it doesn't come with the npt plug. Other than that no issues I will rate again once the product is installed

CTS throttle body spacer w/ water meth port
Quicker response on the throttle! Very noticeable in 1st and 2nd!!! Cheapest upgrade I've done yet. Can't wait to see what water meth does
