Not bad at all
I installed this on my '11 CC a few days ago and have been happy with it so far. I can't tell any increase in performance but I can hear the turbo a little better now, which is all I was really after anyways. It was a direct fit where the OEM turbo muffler went and I didn't run into any problems installing except for it being a tight space to work in. Also, the direction claim it is a 30 minute job which is completely false. The whole motor would have to be out of the car for it to take that long. Expect to spend two hours on it if you have zero issues.

Pretty good! 2009 GTI DSG
Buying this and not seeing a lot of reviews on it made me hesitate but I bought it as my first mod and the build quality definitely makes it worth the money. First gear definitely spools a little faster in the DSG when taking off but nothing dramatic. Would DEFINITELY consider getting this AND the discharge pipe to get the most out of the increased airflow. This was also HARD to put in as well. For my engine/year, there were no instructions ANYWHERE. Your best bet is to have a shop do it or allocate about 4 hours of your time for this installation. I had to zip tie some wiring to my AC line just to get the stock muffler out and the new one in. Overall, i still say its worth it. Also make sure you pick up a torx strew kit from Wal-mart for $10. You'll need T20, T25, T30.
