I had been running a red spulen or Neuspeed insert in dogbone mount area. I experienced wheel hop under SEVERE launching.
I heard about this 034 Motorsport insert. At first was a bit apprehensive. Didn't look like it had THAT much area, (compared to rubber
insert I was currently running).
After doing a lot more research, found out 034 made an INSERT that you can purchase ALONG WITH this mount. (I run a 2013 VW beetle turbo, 6 speed manual).
Same basic drivetrain as my sons 2014 GTI, (cept he has a DSG auto).
Anyway, I purchased both the 034 Motorsport insert, AND also upper pieces that go along with this lower mount.
Easy install. I also modded the beforementioned Neuspeed/spulen mount, I cut it down (rear part), and inserted that along with new pieces.
Blue loctited, torqued down, and took car for a test beat. Even tho it's colder'n snot (however cold snot gets in 10 degree in Wisconsin). I got into boost
a couple of times on GOOD/dry roads. Tires lit up instantly, with absolutely NO sign of wheel hop.
There IS a hair more vibration/NVH, due to this install, but as loud as my exhaust is, it's nothing I'd worry about. (wife hates my car already).
So, bottom line, I highly recommend this mod, if you're running a decent amount of power, and like to GET on the throttle, without fear of wheel hop.
Can't wait to slap the stickies on her, take her to the drags this summer, and knock off those 60's.

I got this after tuning my car. It’s the best $45 I’ve spent on any performance mod. Car shifts and feels a lot better. I’ve noticed no extra vibrations (as i was fully expecting to). Install was a bit harder than expected as my engine shifted a little bit once taking the bolt out. I would definitely recommend this product as well as this site. It was shipped very fast to me and they even sent an air freshener and sticker!! Don’t delay but this part today!!

All the reviews are dead on. Was anxious to try it out. I mean it’s an affordable investment. Can’t go wrong with it. Was skeptical wether to go with CTS turbo or 034. But you get what you pay for for right?
Im happy with the sharper feel, smoother shifts and oddly more control to the ground. Waiting on the upper dog bone mount insert as well. Check it man.

Shifts are so much smoother, you can tell the car just wants to throw the power to the ground with each shift. Wakes up the throttle a bit too to get better response. Feels great, highly recommend

The small details can go a long way. I installed this insert in about 15 mins, took for a drive and immediately could feel a better launch reaction, quicker throttle response, powerful shifts and no hopping. I actually don't mind the vibration upon initial roll! Great product and the DSG in my CC couldn't be happier. Thanks to M.E. and 034MotorSport!

After installing, it was like I had put a completely different high end transmission in my car. Cleaner shifts, no wheel hop, and much smoother driving overall

For such a small price you get some awesome performance, smoother shifting, more power to the wheels and no wheel hop. I was skeptical because of what I heard about the vibration inside the car but there is hardly any added vibration when idling (a little when reversing but barely noticeable!)
