Overview
The stock exhaust system on a B8 A5 is full of crimped tubing that impedes exhaust flow and robs horsepower. The AWE Tuning B8 A5 2.0T Touring Edition Exhaust Systems are designed using CAD modeling software to produce smooth gradual bends and to eliminate any interruption to the flow of exhaust gasses. These improvements to the exhaust path result in gains of 8-9 horsepower and 6-7 lb ft of torque at the crank.
Sound Perfection: AWE Tuning 180 Technology™
As exhaust gases exit the 2.0L Turbo engine and flow into an AWE Tuning 180 Technology™ equipped resonator, they pass through strategically located ports, and into reflection chambers. Sound waves, carried by these exhaust gasses, bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers. By controlling the size and location of the ports and the chambers, it also controls when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific timing of when the reflected sound waves re-join the main exhaust flow creates a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree out-of-phase sound wave that cancels out problematic frequencies.
This A5 2.0T Touring Edition Exhaust System comes in the following configuration:
- Single Outlet, Dual 90mm (3.50 inch) slash cut tips designed to work with the factory rear coupe valance where both tips are on the left side of the car

I spent a lot of time researching exhaust systems before settling on the AWE exhaust. I am very pleased not only with ModdedEuros but definitely AWEs product. I ordered the AWE Cat Back Touring Exhaust for my 2014 Audi A5 Quattro 2.0T. The sound and tone are perfect. No drone and the exhaust not is deep and low. I love it. This is really a mid pipe back system as you would need the downpipe as well to be truly cat back, however I'm totally satisfied. I'm contemplating the AWE Resonated downpipe before getting the APR tune. Great product.

2014 A5 2.0T Quattro
This is a fantastic exhaust system. Great tone, no drone. This really makes the car come alive. I may get the downpipe next. I'd recommend AWE to anyone.
