Billy Boat Test Pipe w/ Cat
After all the videos I have watched and research I have done. I can honestly say that I was in the dark buying the Billy Boat HFC. I had no idea what it was going to sound like, and now that I have it. I don’t regret my decision at all. I can honestly say it sounds fantastic! Yes it will throw a code, but the $50 Milltek catted O2 spacer fixed that. (I had to clear my codes after installing the catted spacer, which never came back on.) I first tried it with the stock intake, since I had to take the CAI out to install it. Which you really didn’t notice much other than the faster revving and a faint boost thrust. With the cold air intake reinstalled my car literally sounds like a turbo driving down the street, and idles like it’s completely stock. My B8.5 literally feels like it’s driving the way it is meant to. Before the HFC you could feel all the boost pooling up inside the cat. Problem solved!
