CTS Turbo is proud to release our B-Cool Billet EA113 2.0T FSI Oil Filter Housing. The OE plastic filter housing is quite fragile and is know to become brittle and crack over time. Each CTS Turbo B-Cool Billet EA113 2.0T FSI Oil Filter Housing is constructed in house from T6061 Aluminum. Not only does the B-Cool filter look good, but it works great. We have engineered cooling fins into our design to act as a heatsink, which dissipates heat from the engine oil. Installation is very straight forward and only required basic hand tools.
The CTS B-Cool Billet fits all Audi, VW, Seat, Skoda models with EA113 2.0T FSI engines, such as MK6 Golf R, MK5 GTI (FSI), Audi A3 (FSI), Audi TT (FSI) this part replaces the OE part # 06D 115 408B and 07K 115 408

installation
Drain oil from the filter housing, use a 36mm socket to remove the factory oil filter housing, install a new filter, install new filter housing o-ring to CTS housing, reinstall on the car and tighten to 18 ft/lbs, refill engine oil.
- Installation of CTS-HW-0242 requires removal of center cage from OE housing cap, which snaps into the CTS billet housing

please note, there is a coolant line that runs close to the OEM filter housing. the OEM housing is designed to not rub against it. the CTS Turbo housing is not. theres a hex bolt that needs to be unscrewed to move the coolant hose in order for you to put on the CTS Turbo filter housing.

CTS Turbo B-Cool Billet Oil Filter Housing on 2007 Jetta Mk5
Bought this to replace the factory pilot filter housing on a 2007 VW Jetta Mk5 that I just bought with 63000 miles to do on my first oil chabge on the car. Figured the factory plastic oil filter housing costs roughly $30-$45, I am much better spending $55 and getting a quality aluminum filter housing. Just remember in the future that when draining oil, to use the bleeder valve before unscrewing the oil filter housing. Also remember when putting the oil filter housing on your car, to retain the factory plastic cage from the old oil filter housing. It just snaps into place!!

Great replacement part. Bought it after reading that the factory oil filter housings tend to be brittle and break and crack. So I spent the $55 on this item and installed it during my oil change on 06/02/2019 and it it a very solid product. Time will tell how it holds up. I read that someone else got a free moddedeuros Air freshener? Normally when you buy parts like these you get decals. No decals were included in this purchase and that the only reason this review got 4 stars.

CTS Oil Filter Cap
This product is great to replace the OEM plastic housing cap that's known to crack over time. Install is easy, and it looks great. My man Tim picked my order for me and hooked me up with a sweet Modded Euros air freshener! Highly reccomend this product, and highly reccomend Modded Euros!
