These adapters allow you to use updated 2.0T coil packs for your 1.8T.
Using coil packs from the 2.0T FSI and 2.0 TFSI can give an advantage over the 1.8T coils. The 2.0T coil packs allow you to run more spark gap since they can burn hotter.
