CTS Turbo is proud to announce our CTS IS38 replacement turbocharger for MQB vehicles.
Their IS38 replacement turbocharger can be installed into 2015+ MQB vehicles as a direct replacement for IS38 turbo; or as an upgrade to IS12 and IS20.
Please note that proper tuning software must be used when upgrading from a smaller turbo – check with your tuning software provider. Any IS38 software is compatible.
A downpipe and intercooler are recommended if retrofitting into Golf/GTI/A3/GLI

This turbo is a replacement, not a genuine IS38. It is built to the OEM tolerance and features an upgraded turbine shaft and bearings for better longevity under elevated boost scenarios.

installation
Installation is a straight-forward replacement of the factory turbo, using all OEM gaskets and hardware. Simply transfer your diverter valve or BOV and wastegate actuator (not included).

- 1 year manufacturer defect warranty on CTS products only (excl. turbochargers).
- 6 months manufacturer defect warranty on CTS brand turbochargers.
- No warranty on ANY electrical or fuelling components.

CTS IS38 Replacement Turbo
Turbo lasted about 5,000 miles on my MK7 GTI before the nut backed off of the shaft and blew the turbo. I would recommend buying any other turbo then one that CTS makes. I will never purchase another CTS product due to their lack of quality.
