CTS Turbo is proud to release our B-Cool Billet MQB Oil Filter Housing.
The OE plastic filter housing is quite fragile and is know to become brittle and crack over time.
Each CTS Turbo B-Cool Billet MQB Oil Filter Housing is constructed in house from T6061 Aluminum.
Not only does the B-Cool filter look good, but it works great.
We have engineered cooling fins into our design to act as a heatsink, which dissipates heat from the engine oil. Installation is very straight forward and only required basic hand tools.

Nice Workmanship
This item did not disappoint. Very well designed and machined with small cooling fins on the outside perimeter. OEM Hex Head to fit your Oil Filter Removal Socket.
Way more durable than the original plastic housing. Highly recommend at this price point. -
Looks great under the hood! Installed on my 2016 Passat 1.8. Haven't seen a dramatic difference in oil temp, but I definitely wanted to replace the factory plastic unit. Quality product that'll last the life of the car.

Nice Billet
Understanding that this piece will not really add much in the way of performance it does dress the engine bay up nicely. In addition it is much sturdier than the plastic OEM part it replaces, and if it drops my oil temps a degree or two I'd consider it an added bonus.
