Description
It is important to upgrade your intercooler to keep the IAT low and your car running at it’s best. Heatsoak from stock or inferior intercoolers will rob you of performance and could lead to pinging/timing pull.
CTS Turbo premium intercooler upgrade is a direct replacement in for your factory part. Their intercooler allows you to keep the charged air cold and keep your power consistent. High flowing core allows for minimal pressure drop and allows air to pass through to the radiator.
Intercooler Specs:
CTS Turbo core size: 25"x2.25"x16" = 900.00 cubic inches or 14.75L
Stock Golf R core size: 24.25"x1.37"x16.25" = 542.00 cubic inches
Stock GTI core size: 24.25"x1.25"x16.25" = 493.00 cubic inches
Notes
Some 2019+ models may require Front Collision Warning system to be adapted by VW after install

Tedious Install but well worth it
Not the easiest of installs as the radiator support needs to be shaved down quite a bit, but when you get it finally in, it makes a WORLD of difference. I highly recommend and the car just pulls so much harder and makes such consistent power. Took for a track day and night/day difference, car showed no signs of heatsoak at all!
