GFB expands the DV+ range with a direct-fit solution for the weak factory diverter valve used on many European vehicles.

The solenoid coil itself from the factory-fitted valve is great (the ECU opens it faster than any pneumatic valve so why replace it?), but the weak point, however, is the valve, however, itself. So GFB’s DV+ solves this problem by replacing just the valve parts with an anodised billet aluminium housing fitted with a brass piston machined to exacting tolerances. Many late-model European cars use ECU controlled solenoid-type diverter valves. This is a good concept because the valve can react very quickly and it only opens when it needs to.

However, there are some problems with these valves. There are typically two types of solenoid-actuated diverter valves found standard on VAG and European cars, both of which have their shortcomings.

Common OE Problems:

  1. The diaphragm types are commonly known to rupture, especially when boost and temperature are increased as a result of chip tuning.
  2. The plastic piston-type leaks far more than most people realise (by design, not from wear), and doesn’t always close after a high-boost gear shift.

The DV+ addresses the factory valve problems with a very simple and elegant solution. Keeping the factory solenoid retains all the benefits of the stock system, and replacing the valve parts with indestructable metal components ensures strength and reliability no matter how much boost you run.

Well, that was probably the best mod I've done in a while. I don't know if I had a torn dv or what, but the car just felt super smooth, built boost quicker, and held more boost at top end. Pulled like a freight train on the highway with my methanol spraying. It seems to respond quicker between shifts as well. Basically it's better everywhere

    This thing gives your car some pull! I was skeptical but you won’t regret this purchase!

  • Must have!

    This is a must have part for the 2.0T! While I’ll miss the sound of my DV spacer, the GFB DV+ is by far the the better choice. You can feel the difference immediately. I even noticed a 2-3 mpg increase that was being robbed from me by the use of a spacer.

  • A must buy for mk6 GTI

    If you plan to modify your mk6 gti, a time should come first, then you’ll definitely need this piece to hold boost- labeled to hold 30 lbs, much better than the stock DV. Holds boost and sounds great. Add a cold air intake for great blowoff sound + spool

  • Great product

    As usual Moddedeuros did their job well and delivered product fast !!! The quality of the Diverter Valve is top notch ! Install on my 2014 Volkswagen CC R-Line was a breeze less than 30 mins start to finish. No special tools needed . Cant say I notice any difference in performance but thought it necessary before I go stage 2.

  • Ordered to prepare for the tune so I don’t have any boost leaks. I’ve noticed quicker boost spool and holds better even stock over the factory divereter would recommend.

  • It was expensive to have installed in my GLI ed30. The turbo had to be taken out to get to. I've only had the chance to drive it home since the install, but boost response is a lot better. It's very noticeable. It comes on quicker after a gear change. The main reason I got it was a leaking dv....the factory dv. It made a semi high pitch noise when driving hard, the dv+ eliminated that. I'm very happy and satisfied. It's a huge improvement. Second purchase with Modded Euros, very pleased with everything to do with them and recommend them.

  • Diverter Valve Upgrade

    Wow...I cannot begin to say what a difference this part makes. Smooth throttle response with no turbo lag. A great upgrade. Audi should upgrade this to a factory standard. I noticed an immediate difference. Great results for a great price! Keep up the good work!

  • 1.8 Gen 3 issues

    This part cannot be installed easily. The diverter valve on new Gen 3 motors is tucked underneath by the turbo. I have been quoted around 300 to 600 to install due to having to remove the turbo to install the DV.

  • Great, easy to use product.

    Solid construction and makes some great sounds even on stock psi.
    The process of taking off your diverter valve isn’t the most fun thing I’ve done on my car.
    Then, trying to put back a spring loaded part in a spot that you can barely reach in is equally as appealing.
    But, saying that, it took roughly ~30 minutes for me to install this part and enjoy it.

    I had been looking at purchasing this for a while since I went stage 2 on my mk6 gti a year ago. I'm not sure why I waited. This product does everything it advertises! More responsive boost and I am getting higher peak boost numbers measured by my P3 guage. Easy install. Took about 20 minutes.

  • Solved my boost leak and EPC issues

    I have a 2017 Passat R line with APR stage 2 software and downpipe. Also I have difference discharge piping with a CTS cold air intake. The GFB DV+ solved all of the problems I was having in regards to the high pitch noise at WOT. Boost is now more responsive, holds to the red line and doesn't leak which leads to massive performance and smoothness while driving! This product really is worth its weight in gold, no wonder the GFB DV+ has so many 5 star reviews!!

  • Does exactly what it says. You can feel the faster throttle response between shifts more so under light/moderate throttle input verses heavier throttle input. You can also feel the claimed 30% faster response to full boost when you go WOT. The sound it makes when venting off some of the air pressure off throttle is short and quiet, but audible.

    Easy to install and the product material and finish is high quality. I wonder how much stiffer of a spring you can place in the piece without getting turbo surge. Might make throttle response even better.

    This thing is great awsome upgrade from the garbage ve sells its costomers must have for 1.8-2.0 platform it does everything it sez its nice to purchace a quality made product for once the only thing is the diverter is simple but getting to it and making the room takes some time but once ur done ur happy u took the time

  • I added this modification after the Stage 1 APR ECU upgrade vavle lift. The boots comes on quicker and holds longer from about 1500 rpms. I would definitely recommend added this to you Audi A4!

  • Great delivery / Easy install

    Super fast delivery. I had one issue with the installation (my own doing) and something for others to note, when removing the OEM DV, make sure you have a good hold of it and its secure when you remove the last bolt. I had a couple of parts fall into the engine bay but luckily they were easily retrieved.

    Honestly it work fantastic and I can tell how much faster boost builds and how it holds it a lot better.     So the reason of ordering this,
    Is I installed Cobb CIA and Cobb tuning after install
    It would make an annoying noise (not the turbo noise) so looked online did my research and found out this would help me the noise,
    And YESSSS IT DID!!!
    now that annoying noise is gone and I can finally hear the beautiful turbo

  • This is a must buy! It almost eliminates boost lag! Throttle response is so much better! And you feel it through every shift. Especially dropping gears at a higher speed. 6th to 4th feels incredible!

    Better throttle response. Holds boost better at higher rpm. Hardly felt any boost lagg. Builds boost hella quicker. Sharper and louder bov sound with intake (awesome!). Def feel the difference between dv+ vs stock. Must have for mk7s.

  • So much better

    My GTI is so much more fun to drive with the DV+installed. The unwanted noise from the intake is gone, prior it would hiss and howl with all the air leaking by my stock dv now its sealed up. Throttle in is much faster and accurate, its smooth and quick. Shifts don't cause a loss in power anymore, they feel faster and stronger now. Couldn't be any happier with such a small modification.

  • The be all end all of DV's for the Audi, finally. I was sick of ripping the rubber diaphragm DV, and then got sick of the sluggish leaking performance from the revised "D" piston DV. There wasn't a happy medium until the DV+ came out. Ever since install, I've been extremely pleased and will back this product up 100%. It feels good to hold boost again, and have responsive throttle response when needed GFB, great work guys

  • I've had the DV+ on my car for quite a few miles now, with no problems at all. It's still holding boost great, throttle response is better than oem, and the car is running awesome. I've spent much more and gotten much less on mods before, so this was a good buy in my book

  • Have had this product installed on my Stage 2+ Golf R for awhile now and love it, boost comes on harder and stays on without any leaks or spikes. This has basically fixed the leaking and boost issues my stock DV couldn't seem to cope with. Unit is nice and stealth & retains the OEM ECU operated control rather than a full mechanical unit like some other units out there, so therefore this unit reponds faster. Overall love the product, does what it is meant to for half the price of any other product out there. Good work GFB, one happy customer :)
