Description

The NEUSPEED Power Module is a device which easily allows most people to upgrade the performance of their 2014-up Audi A3 1.8/2.0 TSI (8V Gen3 engine) or 2015-up MK7 GTI 2.0 TSI (Gen3 engine) without reducing the reliability or integrity of the engine, clutch and driveline.

This is the simplest and best alternative or option to chip tuning.

The NEUSPEED Power Module is an all new design, not some rebranded 3rd party product.

It is a plug and play box that intercepts at the MAP and Boost sensors and can be installed or removed within minutes without any detection.

There is a convenient two position switch for 91+ premium fuel and 100+ octane race fuel for maximum HP output.

The electrical components are housed in a billet aluminum enclosure which is protected from the elements and is designed and manufactured to be positioned within the engine bay of your vehicle.

The wire harness is manufactured using automotive quality wiring which is both oil and heat resistant, and has the same OE water proof connectors as used on your engine.

NEUSPEED Power Module's are designed, engineered and tuned for a specific engine, not a generic box.

IMPORTANT:

  • DO NOT USE POWER MODULE IF ECU HAS BEEN TUNED OR MODIFIED, RE-FLASH BACK TO ORIGINAL SOFTWARE.

How It Works:

Increases boost by modifying the charge pressure and map sensor readings

  • Allows ECU to remain in control of boost
  • The actual boost is increased by a precise amount
  • Boost is increased in a gradual, progressive fashion
  • Uses the closed loop control of the ECU to increase boost

Readings in the vacuum region are stock

  • No effect on cold start
  • No effect on warm-up
  • No change to idle, cruise and moderate acceleration modes of operation

Retains stock ECU programming

  • No change to factory ECU programming, communication or safety protocols
  • No ECU TD1 code to void manufactures warranty
  • Not effected by ECU reprogramming by the dealer

  • You wont be dissapointed.

    I should have gotten this sooner, and this really should come stock with these cars. absolute blast to drive now. I just installed at Neuspeed HI-Flo discharge and CTS cai and holy crap batman!
    I have had ZERO issues with this. I don't hammer on the car at every corner. Its a DD + and that's all I need. I avg 33.2mpg religiously - mixed driving on cruise control . I can hit 38 easy on a long trip at 55 mph. Super happy with this. Delivery was fast and I need to thank ME for that.

  • Great addition

    I’m trying to keep mine a daily driver while giving it as much giddy up as possible and this definitely fits the bill. Super easy install with the pictures and a YouTube video. Pairs well with the cat back exhaust and new Intercooler. It definitely made a difference in the acceleration. I did end up having to remove the plastic guard under the engine to get the last plug installed but it’s a super easy removal and reinstall with a jack and a jack stand for safety. Install took me one hour at most. Highly recommend this product!

  • Perfect alternative to an ECU flash

    I didn't want to do a full ECU flash (at least until I do more significant upgrades). 2017 Golf S 1.8TSI. I have an Injen intake. You can definitely tell a difference with the power module. It's nice to have it plug and play. Had to go through the belly pan to install the lower connector, but didn't take long to install. Neuspeed puts out some great products.

    I'm in the Golf 1.8t- this thing makes a huge difference right away. It's not a tune, but the biggest perk for me over other options is that it is super easy to install and uninstall. Never had any problems with it at at all, no issues from the dealer, no check engine lights, etc. Recommend 100%!

    What can I say.. The nuespeed PM is awesome for those looking for that something extra with out going ECU flash.A true plug and play, no extra cords, apps etc. Install is fairly simple. I did remove splash guard and hooked up from underneath car. When I installed I ran only the +5 “91octane” setting. I did some research and made the switch to +7 “100+” what a difference!! The torque is amazing. I will probably make the switch back for everyday driving and to keep it safe. For now though can’t help but smile with every roll on.

    Bought this for my ‘16 A3 2.0t because I wanted a little more power but didn’t want to risk voiding my warranty with a tune. This little thing is awesome and definitely woke up my engine. I would recommend this to anyone.

    I ordered this mod and received it 2 days later. Definitely woke up my 2015 1.8t golf! Install is simple, but you do have to lift the car for installation. 10/10 recommended for anyone else with a 1.8t who want to try it

    I bought this because I didn't want to go crazy, but wanted to wake up my 2016 GTI. Was very impressed and it feels like a new car. So easy to install and you can take it off easily before taking it to a dealer. 10/10

  • Great Mod, but...

    I love this power module. I've had it installed about a year now on my 2016 GTI. Only issue I've had is that it caused my diverter valve/waste gate to break apart and caused me to get a new turbo. It's a great mod but if you install this consider buying a upgraded valve. The stock valve is plastic and can NOT handle more pressure other than what comes stock. Upgraded valves are metal and can handle all the boost you can throw at them. But all in all this is a great product and would highly recommend as long as you do the upgrades to keep up with it. It will take a while to break the valve apart. Just wanted to give a heads up.

  • Really woke up the GTI. Makes the turbo about as subtle as a hand grenade. Full throttle in 2nd now gets wheel spin awesome bang for the buck, cant wait to get some free time to get 102 in her and go down the track.

  • Great Device that Works as Advertised

    I have had this power module installed on my A3 quattro 8v for approx. 8000 miles. It definitely makes a noticeable power increase. I have only used it in the 5 psi setting with 93 octane so I can't comment on how it performs on the 7 psi setting or different octane levels. I recently took it off before going to the dealer and missed the power. The dealer did not flag me or say anything about the engine or ecu and I put the device back on 2 days later. It is kind of a pain to put the device on for the A3 8v because you really do need to remove the under shield panel to get to the lower sensor. You can do it without going under the car, as I have seen videos but the risk of breaking plugs would greatly increase. Also on cold days the car needs a minute or two to warm up or else it will bog down when trying to accelerate past 2000 rpm. It's probably good practice to let the engine warm up on cold days anyway. My car did not behave this way when the device was removed so it is related to the power module. Other than those two issues I love this device. Gas mileage remains the same.

    Have had the module in my GTI for a month now, wow, awesome!! Better than factory drive ability, and way more power. Car is otherwise completely stock. I have a cold air intake arriving next week. For me the purpose of the intake is for better sound, I don't expect much more power, that's OK with me.

    The Neuspeed Module has made me fall in love with my GTI all over again. This module makes the car exactly how it should be from the factory.

    But it and enjoy. Cheers!!!

  • I own a 2016 VW GTI with the track package and manual transmission. The only thing the car lacked was as little more power as it was not up to the vehicle dynamincs. I looked around and decided to purchase the Neuspeed Power Module as it was cheap (relatively) and could easily be installed/removed. While there are only 2 connectors to attach to the engine sensors,the lower one is a bit difficult as it cannot be seen from the top of the engine. I had to do it by feel. Those with short or large arms will likely have to remove the engine plastic engine pan to get at it. Anyway, I am very happy with the results. You can feel a real difference in the power and the engine remains as smooth and tractible as before. I haven't checked the mileage yet, but it doesn't seem to have suffered much at least in everyday driving.
