Description
Also known as Audi R8 ignition coils (coil pack), these coils are a common upgrade on many Audi / Volkswagen to fix misfire issues.
The Audi R8 coil packs are a must if you plan on upgrading to a K04 or are just looking for greater reliability and performance.
When to upgrade:
- If you have a coil fail, that has caused the car to misfire.
- If you are replacing the spark plugs, it is advised you replace your coil packs.
- When installing a KO4 or higher.
- These can be used on both stock cars and highly tuned cars
Why Upgrade?
- Improved performance
- More Spark = greater reliability and power
- Less chance of misfire
Note:
It does not fit the Gen 3 motors! Please check the fitment guide before purchasing!

Nice Improvement
They work great. Wouldn’t say it’s a drastic “performance” improvement but the car seems to be running a little smoother with the Stage1+ install. Thanks for the quick shipping!

R8 coils
Heard great things about these and ended up having a cyl. 3 misfire, ordered these, received in 2-3 days, fit my mk5 gti like a glove and solved my issues 👌 will be ordering cts intake and turboback here soon

Incredible product
I had bought what was available at the parts store is a set of Auto Direct coils put them in within a week my car started stalling again so I ordered a set of R8 coils and waited for him to come best investment you can make for your 2 liter turbo and they're good for all of your power upgrades to they provide three times or four times the amount of sparked that it needs have bought the R8 coils in the first definitely recommend it to anybody that's replacing coils they were only $20 more than the OEM replacement
