Unitronic's Intercooler Upgrade Kit for the 2.0 TFSI is a direct OEM replacement kit with the ability to support 600HP and more! Featuring a massive 23.5" x 2" x 16.5" bar and plate intercooler core made from T5052 aluminum, T6061 cast aluminum end tanks, proprietary internal fin and louver configuration, and a TIG welded construction, Unitronic's Intercooler Upgrade Kit will resist heat-soak and provide optimal and efficient cooling in any driving conditions. This upgrade is perfect for any project, from stock turbo Stage 2 applications to all-out 500+HP Big Turbo upgrades on the TFSI.

Unitronic Performance Hardware Products carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original retail purchaser (“consumer”) against manufacturing defects or craftsmanship flaw. Warranty only applicable on Unitronic Hardware purchased from Unitronic or an Authorized Unitronic Dealer or Distributor. Original proof of purchase required. 

Warranty coverage may be excluded if installation was not performed by Unitronic, Unitronic Authorized Dealer or other certified VAG specialty mechanic, or if product was modified, installed improperly, or used in any way, not intended by the manufacturer. This warranty does not cover labor, consequential damage to vehicle or vehicle components, shipping costs, loss of use of vehicle, loss of time or revenues, or other incidental damage or loss of use. 

Product usage in Motorsports may result in denial of warranty claim, as operating conditions are inherently abusive in nature and fall outside of normal operating conditions. Upon verification and acceptance of warranty coverage by Unitronic, Unitronic will repair or replace the defective product. Unitronic reserves the right to accept or deny warranty coverage at their full discretion. Warranty claims must be submitted to Unitronic within 48 hours of product defect.

  • Stay cool

    Purchased for my 08 A3 pre-facelift. Install was a bit different than indicated on Unitronic PDF install guide. Had to remove headlights and there is a “frame” that holds the ac condenser, intercooler and radiator that needs to come out. The included hose kit comes with light/medium duty clamps. After install I opted to get some T-Bolt clamps. Intercooler seems to be keeping cool air flowing as power is constantly available. Not sure if it’s just in my head or if the pressure drop due to the bigger core has affected throttle response. Over all I think this a good purchase. I’m currently running stage 1 ECU and TCU flash and most likely will be going 1+ soon. It gets very hot in the summer where I live so keeping the air cool to the turbo seems like a good idea.
