This Hybrid oil pan is the best of both worlds for your 1.8T. The first portion of the pan is cast aluminum and the lower portion of the pan is steel, this allows for worry-free driving especially if your vehicle is lowered.
The steel lower portion adds protection to the bottom of the pan from road debris.
