Description
This aftermarket option has an increased oil capacity of 1L over the OEM oil pan and its design allows you to run lower oil temperatures of 8-15 degrees C while also maintaining stable oil pressure during cornering.
In comparison to the OEM oil pan found in the MK6, this aftermarket option sits only slightly closer to the ground (~7mm) on the MK6 and ~3mm on the MK7 platform.

How does it reduce starvation?
The extra liter of oil allows for the return to be submerged even during hard cornering. Along with the build in baffle near the oil pickup this pan will help you reduce the risk of oil starvation during track days or spirited driving.
How does it reduce Temperature:
The built in fins along the outside edge of the pan allow for passing air to cool off the pan. Stabilizing oil temperature is critical when on track or during spirited driving, this allows for the car to perform to its full potential
Does it offer more protection?
Yes, your stock oil pan from the factory is plastic! This makes it prone to crack or break entirely if you were you strike something.

7 Liters in total. 1 more liter over stock.
