IHI produces the IS series turbos for Volkswagen and Audi. This IS38 is direct from IHI which means it's the exact same turbo you would get at your Volkswagen or Audi dealership without the dealer pricing!
This turbo is equipped from the factory on the Audi S3, TT-S & Volkswagen Golf R.
It is also a popular upgrade for performance-minded enthusiasts as it is a direct bolt-on for the Gen 3 1.8T & 2.0T motors with the proper modifications and software.
